Taxco is a city in the state of Guerrero, southwest of Mexico City. It is famous for the production of silver jewelry and Spanish colonial architecture.

Plaza Borda is its main square which is home to the iconic 18th century Church of Santa Prisca: pink in color with an elaborate Churrigueresque style.

Nearby is the Casa Borda cultural center, which exhibits works by local artists and hosts music and theater events.
